A couple of updates, some of which I really should have gotten around to doing much earlier:-

1) Discovered while at the N80 forums that, there is a new version of the firmware for the N80, N90 V 4.0623.0.41. This is apparently only for the European version, not sure if the the Asian version has been released. Will have to follow up with my local dealer to see.

2) AAS has reported that Nokia has released some firmware updates on-line which allow users to update their mobile's firmware OTA (over the air) or via a PC sync. While this service is still none available for the N80, this is big news because it means users can now update their beloved mobiles from the comfort of their own homes instead of making a trip to their local Nokia retailer.

Let's hope the new firmware is posted soon...fingers crossed!
