Nokia Adds Orb MyCasting Service To Nokia N80 Internet Edition
Nokia has made a press announcement today announcing that they will work with Orb Networks to integrate Orb MyCasting into the Nokia N80 Internet Edition.
"Orb MyCasting offers a single solution that allows you to enjoy all of your digital media stored on your home computer, remotely. It will allow you to instantly access your home photos, videos, music, and even TV, where and when you want. Orb's intuitive solution simply streams your content from your home PC using the Web browser and player on your Nokia N80 Internet Edition, creating your own "personal media portal". You can also remotely record TV programs using Orb's Digital Video Recorder (DVR) function and then play back those recorded programs to you N80. For more info on Orb check out their corporate site .

So do you think one should buy only this model, being it the newest one, or is it just a normal N80 with some preloaded software?
I guess it depends on thee things. Money, effort, and time. I dont know how much more the n80i will cost once its released. As a matter of fact i dont know when its going to come out exactly. However, if you can wait a while, check out the final release so you can make a proper comparison. if there is not too much of a price difference, i would get the new version. If however you are in a rush and are familiar with the s60 platform and are generally internet savvy you can find and install most of the new applications yourself..
