Search And Download Google Video For Your N80
I noticed over at the s60 Multimedia blog, an article regarding how to watch Google Video directly over your NSeries device without the need to download to the file a PC first and do a video conversion.
Scott Robbin has developed an application which allows users to search and download videos to your mobile device. It works for both AVI and MP4 devices, so should be playable over Realplayer.
If you have a non-Symbian devices but are interested in trying out the application, the general requirements are that:
-Your phone has an XHTML-compliant browser
-You have enough storage on your phone to hold large files
-Your phone’s connection is fast
-You have an application on your phone capable of playing AVI or MP4 files
Point your Web browser over to Srobbin Mobile website and let the application do the rest. Do note that due to large file sizes, all search results are limited to videos less than 4 minutes long. Thanks for the effort Scott!

this is a general comment/question. if you, like me, were to buy an n80 - would you buy the original n80 now or wait for the internet edition (that seem to never arrive)? do you know whether n80 internet edition definitely only is a software upgrade, and if it will be possible to upgrade an existing n80 to the ie version?
From all the press releases so far, it appears that the N80 Internet edition is software upgrade only. The software bundle is quite impressive however you can find almost everything off the net.It all depends on the price point, whether Nokia is going to price it significantly higher than legacy N80's. If you can wait, see how much the Internet addition costs when it is released. Then decide. If your handphone market is as volatile as it is here in Malaysia, it may even drive down the cost of the original N80
well i already know that here in finland, they're both priced the same, which is ~470€ at the moment. the n80ie is of course preorder only. the release date is 13th november, but of course it's impossible to tell if it will be true.
